Born and raised in Chicago to a family full of goal-oriented people, Aniyah knew from a very early age she wanted to be a storyteller. Always told she had a “very active imagination,” she became interested in journalism, videography, and broadcast production. After honing that passion throughout high school, she attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a degree in Journalism & Mass Communication with a concentration in Mass Media Production.

Through experience at Wieden + Kennedy, marketing at State Farm, and collegiate sports production as a streaming director, Aniyah’s versatile background has given her a well-rounded outlook on marketing, communications, and production. Post-graduation, Aniyah sought out a role where she could apply all that experience and continue being a creative. HausCo’s values, identity, and work align perfectly with Aniyah’s overall professional goal, making this role a perfect fit.

When Aniyah is not working, you can find her walking on the lakefront trail, spending time with family and friends, and rewatching Harlem, Insecure, and Scandal for the 100th time. Aniyah is also a solo date enthusiast and loves trying new restaurants around Chicago. An avid theatre junkie, she’s at the movies almost every other week, feeding her incurable love for cinema.
