Ayoko is an Account Manager at HausCo, providing support with influencer activations, project management, and social content. She originally joined the team as an intern in November 2020, gaining field experience and growing within her position at the firm. As a lover of drafting cunning copy and organizing elements of a project, she’s always ready with a document or deck on hand.

Proudly hailing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ayoko received her BA in English with a Professional Writing concentration. Prior to working full time at HausCo, she interned at Let’s Breakthrough, Inc, where she was introduced to copywriting with a purpose, social listening, and content creator vetting. She also worked on the national board of CHAARG, a women’s health and fitness organization with chapters on over 100 college campuses. As a 2-year board member, she provided mentorship and event planning consultation to the student e-board of 10 different college chapters.

Outside of professional life, Ayoko’s activities can be summed up through creative outlets and working out (and the occasional online rants about her latest interest or life learning). She’s an English writing tutor on the side, working with her current client—a teacher who specializes in English Language Learning—for about 4 years and counting. As an immigrant from Togo, Africa, her background and early English learning experience fuels her enthusiasm for wordsmithing (or “word-shaking,” as she sometimes labels it) and stories about human experiences and identity. You can also usually find her working out and teaching group fitness classes at Bodi Shak, a boutique gym on the north side of Chicago.
